Find out who will be Ontario's Next Top Young Entrepreneur. Five teams from campuses across Ontario will be competing for the title by pitching innovative start up ideas. The winning team will be enrolled in OCE's Centre for Commercialization of Research's New Entrepreneur Program where they will be granted a non-recourse micro-loan of up to $18,000 ($6,000 per team member) to launch a new start-up, have access to advisory services and have the opportunity to network with key mentors and private investors.

At Discovery 09, Zerofootprint launched their annual "Re-Skinning Awards" to showcase the most successful, holistic retrofitting projects of the year from around the world. These are projects that update older buildings to bring their carbon, energy, and water performance to sustainable levels, improve their aesthetics, and make them "smarter". The competition highlights the importance of addressing existing built spaces that are responsible for approximately 40% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Find out about this year's award winners.

University and College research students will compete
for cash prizes by pitching their leading edge research

second place $1,500 and third place $1,000.
